President Karzai Meets with the Asia Foundation Delegation

President Hamid Karzai received for meeting Wednesday a delegation of the Asia Foundation (TAF) Board of Executive Committee chaired by Michael H. Armacost.

The Board members briefed the President on the various areas of activities including assisting Afghan government institutions including Ministries of Education, Agriculture, and Foreign Affairs that the Foundation has been engaged throughout its thirty years of operations in Afghanistan.

The President thanked the Foundation for its commitments for the development of Afghanistan urging the TAF executives for further focus on Education and Agriculture in the country, where the delegation reaffirmed continued assistance especially in increasing focus on the projects that people need most including education and agriculture.
