President Karzai Congratulates Mr.Ahmadinijad

H.E. President Hamid Karzai congratulated Mr. Mahmood Ahmadinijad on the phone on his reelection as the President of Iran.
President Karzai during the phone conversation said that the large turnout in the election signaled the interest of Iranians in defining their destiny.  The President also added that the relations between the two Muslim nations of Afghanistan and Iran expanded during Mr. Ahamdinijad’s first term and hoped that these relations get stronger during his second term.
President of Iran thanked President Karzai and wished success and prosperity for the people of Afghanistan.
