President Ghani receives Acting Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Foreign Affairs Department

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani received the acting assistant secretary of the United States for south and central Asian affairs Alice G. Wells, Sunday afternoon, Presidential Palace.

Both sides talked over security in Afghanistan and the region. Continued support of the United States for Afghanistan also came under discussion.

President Ghani and Secretary Alice discussed the Afghan-led peace process and the high-priority assistance which can help bring peace and stability in Afghanistan.
