Arg, Kabul: The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, accompanied by a high state delegation left for Ashgabat the capital of Turkmenistan, Monday morning.
President Ghani and President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov are scheduled to meet today in Ashgabat. Topics pertaining to bolstering bilateral ties will figure in their meeting. Bilateral agreements on cooperation will also be signed in their presence.
The President is joined by minister of finance Eklil Hakimi, minister of economy Abdul Satar Murad, head of Administrative Office of the President Abdul Salaam Rahimi, chief advisor to the President on infrastructure Dr. Hamayoun Qayoumi, Special Representative of the President in central Asian affairs Mohammad Shakir Kargar and chief adviser to the President in public relations and strategic affairs Shah Zaman Maiwandi.
