President Karzai Condemns Killing of Six NATO Troops

August 11, 2012 - President Hamid Karzai strongly condemns and ordered an investigation into the two separate shootings in which six NATO service members were killed.

Over the past few days in two separate incidents of individual shooting in the provinces of Helmand and Paktia, six NATO service members were shot death by the terrorists in Afghan security uniform.

Strongly condemning the acts of terror, President Karzai said, “The enemy who does not want to see Afghanistan have a strong security force, targets military trainers.”

The President has ordered an all-out investigation into the incidents and has directed relevant authorities to take all required measures to ensure safety within training and security institutions.
