President Karzai: There Is No Human, Moral or Islamic Justification for Massacre of Innocent Women And Children

September 15, 2012- President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the roadside bombing in Greshk district of Helmand province.

According to Helmand Governor’s Office, a vehicle hit a roadside bomb on Friday afternoon in Greshk district of Helmand province, leaving 12 civilians dead, most of whom were women and children from two families.

Denouncing the act in the strongest possible terms, President Karzai said, “There is no human, moral or Islamic justification for massacre of innocent women and children, it is extremely against religious values and human principles and its perpetrators are cowards who shed blood of our innocent people, as dictated by their foreign masters.”

The President offers his deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and prays for their patience and forbearance.
