President Karzai Chairs Consultative Meeting on Strategic Partnership Agreement

President Hamid Karzai chaired Wednesday a meeting of senior state officials and national figures to specifically discuss issues related to the strategic partnership agreement with the United States.

The meeting participated by Jihadi leaders, the Sr. Minister, Speakers of both Houses of the Parliament, Head of the National Council of Ulemma, National Security Advisor and chief of the Constitution Commission focused on the provisions laid out in the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the United States.

The topics discussed in details for the Strategic Agreement included the transfer of prisons to Afghanistan control and clarity on economic aid as well as training and enabling of Afghan security forces.
