President Ghani departs for Kazakhstan to attend the first OIC Summit on Science and Technology

Arg, Kabul: The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left for Kazakhstan to attend the OIC Summit on Science and Technology, which is due to be held on September 9-10, 2017 in Astana. The President is joined by a high-ranking government delegation during this two-day visit.

In addition to delivering his remarks in this Summit, President Ghani is scheduled to meet with the heads and senior officials of the member-states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

President Ghani is accompanied by acting minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryoubi, chief advisor to the President on Information Technology Rafiuddin Malikzai, Director of Population Registration Department Hamayoun Muhtat and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Palace for Strategic Communications and Media Mohammad Haroon Chakhansuri.
