Arg, Kabul: The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, joined by a high state delegation left for Tajikistan to attend the second summit of CASA-1000 mega power project, Thursday morning.
The President will attend and deliver his remarks in this summit-meeting. President Ghani and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan are scheduled to talk over further bolstering of bilateral ties in their meeting.
President Ghani will also attend an exhibition of Tajikistan agricultural products in addition to attending the trilateral summit-meeting.
President Ghani is accompanied by finance minister Eklil Hakimi, minister of economy Abdul Satar Murad, chief advisor to the President on infrastructure Dr. Mohammad Hamayoun Qayoumi, special representative of the President in central Asian affairs Mohammad Shakir Kargar and chief advisor to the President in public relations and strategic communications Shah Zaman Maiwandi.
