Paktika—President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with school teachers and professors in Sharana, Paktika today, told them about the progress of constructing 6,000 schools all over Afghanistan.
President Ghani added that upon completion, this project will meet demand of school places in the country. He also instructed Minister of Higher Education to expand the number departments in Paktika University that could potentially help in developing the province.
School teachers and professors thanked President Ghani for constructing 24 schools in Paktika from his personal funds. The president also extended gratitude to the teachers and professors for rising above challenges and continuing to train and educate younger generation of the nation.
