President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s decree on celebration of successful completion of security responsibilities’ transition and paying tribute to bravery and gallantry of Afghan security forces on independently defending for freedom, sovereign

By the end of 2014, transition of security responsibilities from International Security Assistance Forces  to Security Forces of IRA will be completed. From the first day of 2015, our security forces will independently defend and protect freedom, sovereignty and national territory of our country.  

 

In order to celebrate and uphold the two mentioned respectable historic occasions of the country, people and honorable Security Forces of the country I order that:

1.The month of Jaddi shall be celebrated and designated as a month of honoring the bravery of Afghan Security Forces. 

2.I request all government offices, social institutions and media of the country to play their patriotic role in suitable celebration and beneficial coverage of the ceremony. 

3.I approve formation of a procurement commission dedicated for celebration of the day of ‘successful completion of security responsibilities’ transition and paying tribute to bravery and courage of Afghan National Security Forces on independently defending the country’ with following members:  

 

•General Abdul Rashid Dostum, first vice president of IRA as head of the commission;

•Esteemed representatives from security and defense commissions of National Council as members 

•Esteemed representative from Ulema council of Afghanistan as member;

•Mr. Nematullah Saer, deputy director general of coordination of government affairs at Administrative Office of the President as member;

•Mr. Ateequllah Atif Mal, deputy minister and acting minister of Foreign Affairs as member;

•Ms. Simin Hasanzada, deputy minister of Information and Culture as member;

•Mr. Daei-ul-Haq Abed, deputy minister and acting minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs as member;

•Ms. Sayeda Mozhgan Mostafawi, deputy minister and acting minister of Women’s Affairs as member;

•Mr. Abdul Maalik Sediqi, deputy minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs as member;

•Mr. Abdul Matin Beig, deputy minister and acting director general of local governance as member;

•Lieutenant General Abdul Khaliq, general staff chief at Army Staff Office as member;

•Lieutenant General Mohammad Salim Hasas, MoI’s director general of Police Affairs as member;

•Lieutenant General Alhajj Mohammad Hassan, director of Security and Defense Office at Administrative Office         of the President as member;

•Major General Ghulam Sakhi, director of Co-ordinating Center of National Security Council as member;

•Mr. Abdul Sami Sadat, representative of National Directorate of Security as member; and

•Mr. Amin Habibi, director general of policy at Ministry of Finance as member. 

 

The commission is assigned to prepare and implement a comprehensive plan for celebration of the mentioned days. 

The expenses shall be executed from code (91) as a support.
