President Ashraf Ghani , met yesterday with Pakistan’s President, Mamnoon Hussain, who travelled to Kabul to participate in the new President’s inauguration ceremony.
In this meeting that took place in Arg, the two leaders discussed ways of further enhancing bilateral relations.
In the meeting, Pakistan President said, “It is my pleasure that I participated in your inauguration and witnessed the peaceful transfer of power from one President to another.”
hanking the Pakistani President and his accompanying delegation for participating in the ceremony, President Ghani said, “As the two nations’ destiny is connected to each other, I hope the trust between the two countries can further be strengthened.”
President Ghani insisted that any insecurity and instability in either country affects the other.
President Ghani continued, “Peace, economic and trade relations are the main issues that the two countries should further explore.”
Pakistan President, Mamnoon Hussain, expressed his country’s long-term commitment to Afghanistan as friend and brotherly country.
