Najibullah Azad appointed as deputy spokesperson to the President

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani appointed Najibullah Azad as a deputy spokesperson in the Presidential Palace. He was recommended by the chief advisor to the President on public relations and strategic affairs.

Najibullah Azad son of Dr. Mohammed Karim was born on 14 February 1984, Paktia province.  He has done post-graduate studies in administration, management and English literature.

Mr. Azad has worked with different national and international organizations in different capacities. He has worked as a political and cultural advisor with NATO. He is proficient in Pashto, Dari, English and Urdu.

Many of Mr. Azad’s political, analytical, cultural, religious and literary articles have been published through national and international media. Mr. Azad was conferred a “Literary Award” by SAARC organization in 2016.
