President Ghani accepts accreditation of ambassador of the Czech Republic to Afghanistan

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani accepted the credential of the new ambassador of the Czech Republic to Afghanistan Petr Stepanek, during a ceremony of honor held in the Presidential Palace Tuesday.

President Ghani and Ambassador Stepanek discussed expansion of bilateral ties particularly on cultural cooperation in the meeting which was also attended by foreign minister Salahudin Rabbani.

The President welcomed ambassador Stepanek to Afghanistan and thanked the Government of Czech Republic for their assistance and cooperation with Afghanistan.

Ambassador Stepanek expressed delight over commencement of his new mission here in Afghanistan, saying that he would strive to bolster up the ties between Afghanistan and Czech Republic during his mission.
