President Ghani accepts credentials of new Saudi ambassador to Afghanistan

President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani accepted the credentials of new Saudi Arabian ambassador to Kabul Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Khalidi Sunday morning during a ceremonial guard held at the Presidential Palace.

Both sides exchanged views over a set of issues pertaining to strengthening Afghan-Saudi relations and visa regime for Afghan labors.

The President thanked Saudi Arabia for its cooperation with Afghanistan in different fields, emphasizing on expanding and deepening Afghan-Saudi cooperation in different spheres particularly economic cooperation and combating extremism.

The new ambassador vowed to strive for bolstering relationship between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia during his mission in Kabul.
