President Ghani departs Kabul for Turkmenistan

Arg, Kabul: The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left for Turkmenistan, Sunday morning. He is joined by a high state delegation during this official visit.

President Ghani is scheduled to separately meet with President of Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The three leaders will jointly attend the inauguration ceremony of Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2017.

President Ghani is accompanied by minister of foreign affairs Salahuddin Rabani, national security advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar, finance minister Eklil Hakimi, chief advisor to the President on infrastructure Dr. Mohammad Hamayoun Qayoumi, special envoy of the President in Central Asian Affairs Mohammad Shakir Kargar, advisor to the President on commercial affairs Serus Alaf and deputy chief of staff of the Presidential Palace for strategic communications and media Mohammad Haroon Chakhansuri.
