Arg, Kabul: President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani departed on an official visit to United Arab Emirates at the head of a high-ranking Government delegation this afternoon.
President Ghani is scheduled to meet senior Government officials of United Arab Emirates and will discuss expansion of bilateral cooperation and security issues with them. The President, on behalf of the Afghan people and Government, will also present deep condolences to the Emeriti Government over the martyrdom of Emeriti diplomats in Kandahar.
The President is accompanied by National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Director General of Directorate of National Security Mohammad Masom Stanikzai, Director General of Administrative Office of the President Abdul Salaam Rahimi and Advisor to the President Ajmal Ghani.
